We Redraw Your Old Diagrams Into Clean, Print-Ready Artwork

Most publishers come to us with the same problem: the content is fine, the artwork is not. Hand sketches, screenshots pulled from a PDF, 72 dpi scans of a 1990s textbook plate, labels that no longer line up. Peacock Design Solutions rebuilds all of it — redrawn from scratch as clean vector artwork, correctly labelled, colour-corrected and supplied at full print resolution.

Educational infographic redesign is not tracing. We read the diagram, work out what it is actually teaching, and rebuild it so the important part is the part the student sees first. Weak hierarchy gets fixed, cluttered labels get repositioned with leader lines, inconsistent colours get pulled onto one palette, and every element becomes editable artwork you can reuse across print, e-book and e-learning.

What the Client Gave Us, and What We Did

A typical brief arrives incomplete. Here's how we handle it.

What the client gave us

  • Screenshots lifted out of an old PDF, blurred and pixelated at print size.
  • Pencil sketches from the subject author, with arrows and notes in the margin.
  • Figures from three different editions, each in a different colour scheme and font.
  • Labels overlapping the artwork, pointing at the wrong part, or missing entirely.
  • A marked-up chapter PDF listing the corrections the subject editor wanted.

What we did

  • Redrew every figure as clean vector artwork — sharp at any size, from a thumbnail to a wall chart.
  • Built one colour palette and type scale, then applied it across the whole chapter so the figures read as a set.
  • Rebuilt the visual hierarchy so the concept being taught is the first thing the eye lands on.
  • Repositioned every label with clean leader lines, and checked each one against the author's copy.
  • Raised contrast and minimum type size so the artwork stays legible in print and on screen.

Send Us the Originals

Share whatever you have — scans, sketches, screenshots, old print files. We audit each one and tell you what can be salvaged and what needs a full redraw.

Agree the Style

We redraw two or three sample figures and build a short style guide — palette, type, line weights, label rules — for you to sign off before the batch starts.

Redraw the Batch

The full set is rebuilt to the approved style, with each figure checked against your marked-up copy as it's finished.

Editorial Review

Your subject editor marks up the drafts and we work through the corrections in structured revision rounds until every figure is signed off.

Final Delivery

Artwork is delivered in every format you need — print-ready and digital — with layered source files so you can update it yourself later.

Yes. We treat a low-resolution file as a reference, not a starting layer — the figure is redrawn from scratch in vector, so the final artwork has no trace of the original pixelation. If a label is genuinely unreadable in your file, we flag it and ask you to confirm the wording rather than guess.

That's the point of the style guide step. Send us your existing pages or brand guidelines and we match the palette, typeface and line weights exactly. If you'd rather modernise the look, we propose a new system and apply it consistently across every figure in the set.

Yes. Large sets are scheduled in batches against your production calendar, with a fixed style guide and a single art director reviewing every batch, so the last figure matches the first.

High-resolution CMYK PDF and TIFF for print, RGB PNG and SVG for digital, plus the layered editable source file so your team can update labels or translate the artwork later.

A single figure is typically redrawn within 2–3 working days. Chapter and edition-wide sets are scoped individually, with a batch schedule shared at the start so you always know what lands when.

You do. Every commissioned figure is delivered with full royalty-free rights and the editable source file — reprint, adapt and distribute with no ongoing fees. You are responsible for holding the rights to any original material you send us.
